An internship that begins before graduation is considered curricular (with or without credits). From the graduation day onwards, such internship becomes extracurricular.

If your internship is carried out in Lombardy, due to a Bocconi policy, it remains curricular if it is completed by 59 calendar days after the awarding of the degree.

Due to this policy:

— if your internship is completed by 59 calendar days after the awarding of the degree, it will end regularly;
— if your internship is completed after 59 calendar days after the awarding of the degree, it will be interrupted by the Internship Office on the fifty-ninth day after the graduation day.
The company can then activate a new internship that will start as an extracurricular one. For this new extracurricular internship you shall commit to meet all the requirements set out by the relevant law on extracurricular internships.

If the internship is not carried out in Lombardy, due to the relevant regional laws’ peculiarities, please, contact the Internship Office in order to make sure that the University can act as promoting body. The University does not activate extracurricular internships in Latium and Emilia-Romagna.

If the internship is carried out outside Italy, please, do inform in due time your Company about your graduation.
