Bocconi Library offers a program of workshops for students and is available for organising on demand workshops upon request from Faculty members.
Our workshops
The workshop offers a comprehensive overview on the search tools available to browse our collections and access all the resources, data and documents you need for your courses, assignments and exams. At the end of the course, you will be able to quickly find everything you need and get the most out of the Library.
This workshop is particularly recommended to new students and anyone who wants to get an overview on Library services and resources.

The workshops are aimed at providing the basic skills needed to correctly cite bibliographic sources when writing academic texts (final work, papers, class assignments) and to use the citation manager software RefWorks that can help you creating citations and bibliographies automatically!

Are you a PhD student and would like to know more about Open Science?
Are you a researcher and would like to publish in Open Access?
Are you a final year student and would like to pursue an academic career?
Bocconi Library offer a 1-hour workshop open to all PhD students, Faculty and final year students dedicated to Open Science and Open Access. In this workshop you will learn about Open Science and Open Access and how these practices are becoming real alternatives in the world of academic research. You will discover how to maximise the impact of your research and make your work open access thanks to different strategies, for example taking advantage of transformative agreements that Bocconi Library signs with the main commercial publishers. Where do workshops take place?
Online workshops take place on Blackboard.
In-person workshops take place in Library room 111, on the first floor of the Library (Gobbi 5), or in the Financial Markets Data Room (Via Sarfatti 25, basement).
All workshops are interactive: if possible, we ask you to attend the online workshops from a place where you can talk.
How to book?
Through your yoU@B student diary, “Appointments” section. Bookings open 3 weeks prior to each event, except for the workshops "Open Science for researchers" where bookings open 4 weeks prior to the events.
Workshops are confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants. You will receive a confirmation email the day before the workshop.
