Graduation marks a big step forward, but you’ve never walked this journey alone, and you never will. From your first day on campus to the last step across classes, we’ve been here, championing every dream, supporting every challenge, and cheering on each victory, big or small. Now, as alumni, that connection grows even stronger. 

Whether you’re starting a new career, venturing into the unknown, or simply needing a reminder of where your roots are, know that your university stands right beside you, supporting you in all the ways that matter (and sometimes with advice, and a whole network of friends!).

Here’s to your next chapter—filled with promise and purpose. And while you soar toward your dream jobs, don’t be surprised if you catch us cheering from the background. Congratulations! 

Let the 2024-2025 academic year begin!

On November 9, Bocconi University celebrated its 123rd anniversary, an occasion to present the development strategies and achievements it has set in place to become a leading player of this future. Starting from its three missions of being a global educator ahead of its time, a research university capable of having a concrete impact on society, and an institution that constantly and actively engages with its community along with all of society and institutions – from Milan to the rest of Italy, from Europe to the world.

The opening ceremony featured speeches by Bocconi President, Andrea Sironi, as well as President of the Bocconi Alumni Community, Silvia Candiani, and Rector Francesco Billari. 

Guest speaker Ajay Banga, President of the World Bank Group, reminded the increasing importance of hashtag#leadership, as he shared with us: "When you leave Bocconi and begin your careers, I hope you carry with you a sense of shared responsibility and remember that leadership is not just about what you achieve, but how you achieve it."
