CIVICA Student Engagement Fund

Selected by the European Commission as one of the pilot European Universities in 2019 and confirmed as successful alliance in 2022 under the Erasmus+ programme, CIVICA brings together 10 leading European higher education institutions in the social sciences, humanities, business management and public policy.

Under the leadership of SGH Warsaw School of Economics, CIVICA partners are working towards developing a framework to foster students’ engagement within the CIVICA alliance while strengthening their sense of belonging and shared identity, deeply rooted in European values and heritage.

The CIVICA Student Engagement Fund (SEF) is introduced as one of the initiatives facilitating bridge-building between nations, cultures, and languages.

Important information for Bocconi students and registered student associations

The SEF is a mini-grant funding scheme aimed at supporting student-led joint initiatives within the CIVICA alliance. It aims to foster cross-campus collaboration among students and registered student associations from different disciplines and backgrounds in tackling the important issues facing Europe today, and to further enhance the students’ experience within the alliance.

The SEF will support up to 10 joint initiatives per academic year across the alliance, to be implemented during the spring semester and foresees one centralized call for application in Academic Year 2024/2025 and one in Academic Year 2025/2026.

Before starting your application, please make sure to read carefully all information indicated in the Call for Proposals AY 24/25 and in the SEF Project selection and implementation rules:
