Bocconi residences host about 1,700 students each year, who have their accommodation available for the standard assignment period: from August 20 to June 27 of each academic year.
The standard assignment period meets the academic needs of most students. All guests, regardless of whether they have renewed their accommodation for the following year or not, must vacate their rooms by June 27.
In July, in fact, the residences welcome for a few weeks the students of the Bocconi Summer School, a project of great importance for the University that significantly contributes to strengthening the international network of our university.
Taking into account the setting of housing allocation periods, it is recommended that all Bocconi students who are guests of the residences avoid the accumulation of material in the rooms and apartments during the year, and to plan in a functional and timely manner the complete room emptying required at the end of the year, considering from the beginning of the year the planned commitment to this activity. The city of Milan offers many services dedicated to material storage, which we encourage you to check online. It is emphasized that the University will not provide services or spaces dedicated to the management of student materials during the summer period.
In addition, 2 different extraordinary opening periods are defined, and the permanence during those periods is regulated as follows:
-for Christmas 2024 students must notify directly to the residence manager of their residence halls their possible stay during the period from 24 December 2024 to 2 January 2025;
-for July 2025 (request to be submitted in February 2025) the possibility of permanence will follow the specific instructions contained on the dedicated webpage.
Bocconi University has accommodations in each residence hall that are designed to accommodate students with disabilities in order to offer them the possibility to easily live their university experience in a collective context that meets their needs. Students with disabilities who require special housing needs may contact the Office of Fees, Funding and Housing, which will evaluate, with each student, which housing is best suited to their specific needs. All reported issues and provided documentation will be treated confidentially and subject to applicable privacy regulations.In order for the Office to be able to satisfy the requests received, it is best to clarify your needs in advance. Interested students are advised to contact the Fees, Funding and Housing Office before submitting their housing application.
