CIVICA for Master Students

The following innovative educational formats and activities fostering cross-cultural, transdisciplinary and challenge-based learning are available for Bocconi Master students:

  • CIVICA Honour Seminars are intensive 3 to 5 days learning experiences designed with the aim of fostering students' engagement in addressing current global issues while strengthening and promoting common European values through social/cultural activities.

  • Seminars are organized twice a year in January (Winter Seminars) and June (Summer Seminars), and are open both to home and travelling students from the CIVICA partner institutions according to fixed predetermined slots.

  • Starting from AY 2023/2024, successful participation to these seminars will grant for Bocconi students 2 ECTS as enhancing experience - curricular supplementary activities.

  • Bocconi Master Students can attend a CIVICA Honour Seminar in their 1st or 2nd year of study.

  • Applications are collected through the yoU@B diary in November for Winter Seminars and April for Summer Seminars.
  • Multicampus Courses are designed and taught jointly by teams of professors from the CIVICA alliance and are delivered as a series of live on-line lectures integrated with local activities at each partner institution.

  • While experiencing the unique opportunity of having direct interaction with scholars and instructors across Europe, Multicampus Courses spur students to work in teams across countries and disciplines, with the aim of completing a final Capstone Project Assignment under the supervision of instructors from the alliance.
