Free Mover Summer

Integrated Master of Arts in Law (AY 2025-26)

ELIGIBILITY & DESTINATIONS

The Free Mover Summer is open to Bocconi students from the five-year Integrated Master of Arts in Law who meet the requirements and who can attend a Summer Program once, in the summer of their third or fourth year. Participation in a program in the summer of the first year, second year or before will not be recognized, as well as the participation in a program in the summer of the fifth year.

The application to the Free Mover Summer will be on-hold and the recognition platform will not be available until the Bocconi requirements are met. If an applicant does not meet the requirements before the beginning of the Summer Program, the application to the Free Mover Summer will be declined.

3rd year students

Enrollment year: Students regularly enrolled in the 3rd year of the five-year Integrated Master of Arts in Law.
Credits: At least 100% of 1st year, 60% of 2nd year credits registered. The calculation includes all the exams officially registered in the academic career by February 1, 2025 (end of the ordinary session).

In addition, applicants must meet the academic requirements of the partner school (if any).

4th year students

Enrollment year: Students regularly enrolled in the 4th of the five-year Integrated Master of Arts in Law.
Credits: At least 100% of 1st year, 60% of 2nd year credits and 60% of 3rd year credits registered. The calculation includes all the exams officially registered in the academic career by February 1, 2025 (end of the ordinary session).

In addition, applicants must meet the academic requirements of the partner school (if any).

3rd and 4th year students

Level B2 (minimum passing grade of 24/30) or higher for English, proved by one of the options listed below:

  • Secondary school diploma awarded in English;
  • English-speaking country citizenship;
  • English International language certificates of Level B2 with a minimum passing grade of 24/30*;
  • Bocconi English exam of level B2 (with a minimum passing grade of 24/30).


In addition, applicants must meet the language requirements of the partner school (if any)

Citizenship


citizens from a country where English is the first language, can certify their language proficiency by submitting their passport at the time of application to the Summer Program at Punto Blu.

Bocconi Language Exam

applicants with the Bocconi exam already registered in their study plan do not need to submit any certificate at the time of application.

International Certifications for English

  • certificates must be recognized by Bocconi Language Center with an equal or higher level of B2 with a minimum passing grade of 24/30 for English and must be submitted at the time of application. For the certifications and scores accepted, please visit the Language Center website.
  • IELTS Indicator and TOEFL Essentials are not accepted;
  • TOEFL/IELTS: must be awarded no more than 2 years prior the beginning of the Summer Program;
  • other certificates: awarded no more than 3 years prior the beginning of the Summer Program.

 

Università Bocconi has selected a number of Partner schools from its international network that offer interesting and educationally valid Summer Programs. The following is the only list considered valid for the recognition of courses offered in the Summer Program through institutions abroad.
Students can submit applications for other alternatives that must be examined individually in advance by the Study Abroad office, before applying to the Free Mover Summer The request, accompanied by a letter of motivation and information material on the University/Program, has to be submitted through B in Touch, available on yoU@B Diary, to the Study Abroad Office.
