Graduate Selection Criteria

Exchange Program 2025-26

Selection is based on merit evaluation, taking into consideration the following elements:

  • Student academic weighted credit average (WA): 50%

  • Number of credits earned (NC) divided by the maximum number of credits that can be earned (MAX NC): 20%

  • Final degree grade for the Bachelor program - Laurea Triennale: 30%

The score formula will be the following:

The result will be then multiplied by 1000. That will be your final score.

The calculation of credits thus includes all the exams of the 1st year - 1st semester - study plan officially taken by February 1st, 2025 (included), end of the ordinary exam session.
Exams which are not part of the 1st year - 1st semester study plan (internship, languages, anticipated exams and anticipated curricular supplementary activities) are not included.

Students can indicate up to 10 exchange destinations in order of preference. The Study Abroad office will elaborate the ranking, according to the above-mentioned criteria. Each student will be assigned to the first destination for which there are still places available among the ones s/he listed in her/his application in order of preference.

Please note:

  • If applicants have equal final scores for a specific destination and there is one last slot available, the students' preferences linked to the destination will be used as criteria in order to set the ranking. In case of equal preferences, priority will be given to the student who applied earlier (considering hh:mm:ss).
