Non resident student

International students with permanent legal address ABROAD and all other students who are not considered "commuting" nor "resident", can apply for the non-resident status through the online ISU Bocconi Scholarship application and submitting compliant documentation attesting the accommodation in Milan (upon payment), as indicated in the table below.

Failure to submit the necessary documentation will result in being assigned the "commuting" status instead of the "non-resident" status.

Students domiciled in a municipality that is not considered as “resident” or “commuting” who:


  • will go abroad for study/work experiences recognized by Bocconi International Relations Service

and for this reason

  • cannot submit the necessary documentation to attest their non-resident status or are not assigned a room in a Bocconi Residence Halls for at least 10 months

can request to be considered "non-resident" by the deadline above indicated through the online scholarship application procedure and then follow the instructions above, provided that the period spent abroad (certified by International Relations Service) added to the period spent in Milan (duly documented) is of at least 10 months in the period September 2023-August 2024.


* For the period spent abroad no documentation must be submitted to the FFH office. The attendance of the international program will be verified with the competent Bocconi offices.
