Transfer, re-enrollment and withdrawal a.y. 2024-25
Transfer from another University
Students transferring from another University to Bocconi University are required to pay tuition and fees to Bocconi, even if they have already paid tuition and fees to another University for the same academic year.
Transfer to another University
- Students enrolled in the 1st a.y. 2024-2025
Students enrolled in the 1st a.y. 2024-2025 requesting transfer to another University are required to pay any outstanding tuition and fees when they present their requests for transfer in relation to the official expiry dates of payment.
- From 2nd a.y. 2024-2025
Students enrolled in the 2023-2024 a.y. requesting transfer to another University by 30 September 2024 are required to pay any outstanding tuition and fees for the 2023-2024 a.y., but do not have to enroll for the 2024-2025 a.y.
If instead they enroll (for the 2024-2025) and submit a request for transfer:
- by 30 September 2024, these students are required to pay the amount for enrollment (the advance payment on the 1st installment).
- from 1 October 2024 onwards, these students are required to pay all outstanding tuition and fees when they present their requests for transfer in relation to the official expiry dates of payment, and always based on the last assigned income bracket.
Students enrolled in academic years before 2023-2024 who intend to transfer from Bocconi University to another university must enroll in the 2024-2025 a.y. and regularize their financial positions through:
- the payment of tuition and fees relative to their last year of enrollment and any pre-defined penalty
- a fixed rate for every year in which they did not enroll or attend equal to the registration fee
- tuition and fees for the 2024-2025 a.y., to be paid on submission of their requests for transfer (based on the last assigned fees target), any penalties, if enrollment and payments are made late in relation to the official expiry dates of payment in respect to the current academic year.
Proof of payments should result in the financial situation statements of these students.
Students that have had permission for "special leave" (to continue their studies at a foreign University or at Military Academies), on return to Bocconi University, should present certification of tuition and fees paid for attendance released by the other University or Academy. If this documentation is not presented, these students are required to pay any outstanding payments due to Bocconi University on the basis of their specific situations.
Re-enrollment (starting from the 3rd year)
Students who re-enroll after an interruption in their studies, either in the same degree program or another, are required to pay:
- any outstanding tuition and fees pertaining to their last academic year of enrollment, with any penalty fines
- a fixed registration fee for each academic year that has passed from the time of their withdrawal to re-enrollment
- all tuition and fees due for the year of re-admission, with any penalty fines in the case of late payments for the on-going academic year in relation to the official expiry dates of payment.
Students are required to pay only the 1st installment (advance and adjustment payment) regardless of the graduation session if they have to submit just the thesis.
Withdrawal
Students enrolled in the 2024-2025 a.y. who request withdrawal from their studies
- by 30 September 2024, these students are required to pay the amount for enrollment (the advance payment on the 1st installment).
- from 1 October 2024 onwards, these students are required to pay all outstanding tuition and fees when they present their requests for withdrawal in relation to the official expiry dates of payment and always based on the last assigned fees target.
Please note: where tuition and fees are wholly or partially paid by Federal Aid (US students Direct Loans), the refunds of US Direct Loans will be calculated according to Return to Title IV (R2T4) regulations.
Students enrolled in academic years before 2023-2024 who wish to withdraw from Bocconi are required to pay any outstanding tuition and fees relative to their last year of enrollment.
Proof of payments should result in the financial situation statements of these students.
