Bocconi&Jobs abroad UK and Ireland

4 October 2024 (10am-2pm BST), London (On-site)

The event will be a unique opportunity to meet international companies based in the UK, offering internship and placement opportunities to Bocconi students and graduates highly motivated to work in the Country. The small scale of the event will allow participants to connect with potential employers in an exclusive and direct way.

 

30 September - 3 October: Preview Days

Explore company profiles of attending employers, read their corporate info, watch their videos, browse their LinkedIn page and review their job opportunities.

4 October from 10 am to 2 pm BST: Career Fair in London

Meet company representatives in person, interact directly with recruiters, and gain valuable insights into the hiring processes for applying to the available opportunities.

4 - 8 October: Early Birds Application

Send online the applications for internship and job opportunities (reserved exclusively for students who participated in the event).

Participation requirements and deadlines

Students and graduates who meet the requirements (please see the boxes on the right) can apply on You@B > Career Service menu > Events Calendar from 19 August 2024 at 1 pm to 6 September 2024 at 11:59 pm OR upon reaching the maximum number of participants (if necessary, a waiting list will be available).

Students and graduates meeting the requirements will receive a confirmation email.

  • Bachelor Programs: 
    Students regularly enrolled in their 2nd and 3rd year in the a.y. 2024/25; World Bachelor in Business students regularly enrolled in their 3rd and 4th year in the a.y. 2024/25. 
  • Master of Science Programs: 
    Students regularly enrolled in their 1st and 2nd year in the a.y. 2024/25; Graduates within 3 years from graduation. 
  • Specialized Master programs in the fields of economics and management: 
    Students regularly enrolled in the a.y.2024/25; Graduates within 3 years from graduation.

English language proficiency is to be proved as follows:

  • enrolment in a program taught in English; 
  • other certificates accepted by Bocconi Language Center at the C1 level (for the list of certificates and correspondent levels, please refer to this link): send a copy to bocconiandjobs.abroad@unibocconi.it by the registration deadline; 
  • Bocconi English exam at C1 level; 
  • a study experience in an English-speaking school or internship/work experience in an English-speaking country may also be evaluated.

Student responsibilities and important info

Participants are responsible for travel expenses and for the Visa to enter the country (if required). 
 

Students' responsibility
Before applying, please note that it is the student's responsibility to:

  • Verify personally, with the authorities of the host country, the suitable procedures for obtaining the appropriate visa, if required, and any other necessary documentation in full compliance with local laws. All formalities relating to visas and other documents required to enter the country are the responsibility of the student.
  • Read the “Bocconi Students Travel Risk Policy” (available on yoU@B), and comply with the risk mitigation measures suggested.
  • Access, through yoU@B diary, the Travel Risk Awareness Elearning, and the International SOS Member’s portal, which includes Country Guides and Travel Security and Medical Risk Ratings.
  • Check and follow all the travel recommendations of your Country’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International SOS.
  • Check all the Covid-19 Procedures to enter the host country and re-enter your home country.
     

Please, be also aware that Bocconi University reserves the right to cancel the program if exceptional circumstances occur before or during the carrying out of the program.
Travel and health risks can rapidly change and lead Bocconi University and hosting Institutions/Companies or Countries to increase travel and health restrictions. In any case, Bocconi University does not guarantee that the event will take place if the general conditions do not safeguard the well-being and safety of students.
