Volunteer Desk

Thanks to collaborations with CSV Milano (the Volunteer Services center) and the student association Students for Humanity, the Desk provides general information on volunteering and orients students interested in dedicating themselves to social engagement.

There are hundreds of associations working in the Milan area, as well as summer and international opportunities.

If you’re interested in learning more about the opportunities offered by the various associations, please fill out this form that will help us understand which activities may fit your interests and availability.

Many activities promoted through the Volunteer Desk potentially qualify for the Bocconi Social Impact Recognition project. Find out more on this page.

Types of activities

The activities promoted by the volunteer desk are of different types and also involve varying commitment depending on the volunteer association of reference.

Some of the activities involve a commitment that is potentially compatible with the Bocconi Social Impact Recognition project. Others, on the other hand, require less time availability and therefore do not fall under the requirements of this project ("open" opportunities).

Thanks to the collaboration with CSV Milano and the associations in its network, you will find multiple opportunities for commitment even for the summer months, in Milan, in Italy and abroad.

Below is a non-exhaustive macro-list of the types of activities in which it is possible to engage:

  • activities with minors (also in English): e.g. Save the Children, Mamme a scuola, Fondazione Archè...
  • activities with people with disabilities (also in English): e.g. Circolo Culturale Giovanile di Porta Romana, Il Gabbiano..
  • activities with people with social difficulties (also in English): e.g. Opera Cardinal Ferrari, Fondazione Isacchi Samaja...
  • activities with elderly people (Italian speakers only): e.g. Spazio anziani Caritas...
  • activities in the artistic-cultural sphere (Italian speakers only): e.g. Associazione Amici del Museo Bagatti Valsecchi...
