Our Partnership
In recent days, we have seen to our dismay that cyber attacks by criminals can have effects powerful enough to damage companies, steal identities and even influence American presidential elections. And that’s just the “bad guys”: legitimate outfits like database providers, online vendors and social media companies all know that data equals power, and go to considerable lengths to gather it. This competitive pursuit of digital gold has spawned a large and growing industry specialized in cybersecurity.
Organizations of all types urgently need to fill positions with job profiles that combine technical and managerial competencies in ways that address their security issues. They face the dual challenge of staving off technical obsolescence while keeping their precious data safe. Cybersecurity is no longer an optional.
Two of Italy’s most prestigious universities, Bocconi and Politecnico di Milano, have joined forces to prepare a new category of professionals in the field of cyber risk, the MSc in Cyber Risk Strategy and Governance.
The two-year program is based on a complementary blend of their strengths: Politecnico provides top-flight technological training, while Bocconi shares its expertise on the strategic and economic fronts.
The result is an interdisciplinary and well-balanced foundation followed by deeper technical or managerial specialization.
