Disabilities and learning disorders

In accordance with current Italian legislation (Law 17/1999 and Law 170/2010) and the guidelines issued by the CNUDD (National University Conference of Delegates for Disability), Bocconi University is committed to providing the necessary support measures to ensure that the online test is administered in a manner that meets the specific needs of applicants with disabilities, including temporary disabilities, or specific learning disorders (SLD).

Applicants with a disability and/or a Specific Learning Disorder (SLD) may request accommodations for the admission test, in accordance with the procedures and deadlines outlined on this page.

Requests are assessed on an individual basis, taking into account the supporting documentation provided and the applicant’s specific needs, in order to determine appropriate accommodations for taking the Bocconi online test.

To request accommodations for the online Bocconi test, applicants must complete the dedicated request form at least 5 working days before the date on which they intend to take the test.

Request Form for Applicants with SLD/Disabilities [Available from July 2026]

To complete the form, applicants will be required to provide the following documents:

A copy of the documentation certifying the declared condition (e.g., disability certification or Specific Learning Disorder (SLD) certification issued by the National Health Service or another accredited body). For SLD, the certification must have been issued within the previous three years.

A valid identity document of the applicant (and of a parent or legal guardian if the applicant is under 18 years of age).

It is the applicant’s responsibility to submit the required documentation within the specified deadlines to allow for its proper assessment. Failure to do so may prevent the University from guaranteeing the implementation of the accommodations necessary to take the test.

Applicants who have previously submitted a request for accommodations in a past academic year and wish to take the test again must submit a new Request Form for Applicants with SLD/Disabilities.

Bocconi University may grant, by way of example and not limited to, the accommodations listed below.

In the case of a disability or a Specific Learning Disorder (SLD), applicants may be granted additional time to complete the test (up to 50% extra time in the case of a disability and up to 30% extra time in the case of an SLD) and/or specific accommodations (such as a non-scientific calculator and/or formula sheets).

Requests will be assessed on an individual basis, taking into account the applicant’s declared needs and supporting documentation. Any accommodations and support tools granted will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Any accommodations granted will be communicated to the applicant in due time to allow participation in the online test.

If additional time is granted, the applicant will receive the code required to apply the accommodation to the test. If a test attempt has already been purchased, the code may be entered directly in the personal area of the web testing platform at least 24 hours before the test.

Any accommodations granted will apply to all subsequent test attempts taken during the same academic year, using the same code.

Please note that the compensatory measures granted during the test phase may differ from those that will apply during the academic career, should the applicant be admitted and choose to enroll.
