Selection Criteria

Bsc in International Politics and Government

Selection is based on merit evaluation, taking into consideration the student's academic weighted average and the number of credits registered up to February 3rd, 2024.

0.1 points will be attributed for each credit above the minimum number of credits required (40% of 1st year credits registered). These points will be added to the weighted credit average.

The calculation of credits thus includes all the exams (part of the 1st year study plan and 2nd year - 1st semester - study plan) officially taken by February 3rd, 2024 (included), end of the ordinary exam session. It is furthermore specified that for courses subdivided in modules: the credit points and the grades earned for the single modules passed will be taken into account and they can be viewed by printing the unofficial academic transcript at the Punto Blu.

When rankings are published, students will be notified the assigned destination.

If applicants have equal final scores for a specific destination and there is one last slot available, the students' preferences linked to the destination will be used as criteria in order to set the ranking. In case of equal preferences, priority will be given to the student who applied earlier (considering hh:mm:ss).

When only one term is indicated as available, the selected student will be automatically assigned to that term; when two or more terms are indicated as available (with a set number of slots available for each term), the selected student will make a choice (preference) during the assignment stage. Indeed, selected students with higher scores on the ranking will have priority when assigned to the term indicated.
If the student wants to be considered eligible for a specific destination, in case of additional language requirements are specified, he/she must have a certificate valid for both terms indicated on the brochure.
