In-Company Training abroad Washington

Career Service offers 15 students a unique opportunity to get to know from inside the international organization and think tank world in Washington DC. 
The students will spend half a day in each of the following organization:
World Bank, Migration Policy Institute, IADB, IMF, Wilson Center.

Participants will have a direct and informal contact with managers and employees and they will be involved in:

  • Institutional presentation
  • round table on institutional related topics
  • networking event within organizations

The In-Company Training will take place from 1 to 5 of March 2020

Participants have to reach Washington on their own.
Accommodation expenses will be covered by University.
Travel expenses shall be borne by participants, who are responsible for their own travel arrangements.

Participants are also responsible for the following costs:

  • visa fees to enter the country of destination (when required)
  • health insurance (when required)
  • meals and extra costs (when not included)

Application details - Eligibility:
The perfect candidate is an high achieving student, with strong interest International Organizations, fluent in English, curious and open minded.
In particular:

  • 1st year students currently and regularly enrolled in a Bocconi Master of Science Degree Course in the a.y. 2019-2020;
  • 2nd year students currently and regularly enrolled in a Bocconi Master of Science Degree Course in the a.y. 2019-2020;
  • 3rd year students currently and regularly enrolled in a Bachelor course in the a.y. 2019-2020
  • 3rd year students currently and regularly enrolled in the World Bachelor in Business in the a.y. 2019-2020
  • 4 and 5 year students currently and regularly enrolled in an integrated master of science in law
  • GPA: minimum 22/30 (average weighted on credits);

Due to the specific contents of the program, priority will be given to students attending the following degree courses: BIG, FINANCE, ESS, GIO, LAW, PPA.

Language proficency in english demonstrated through:

  • Enrolment in program taught in English
  • Bocconi English exam of Level C1
  • Other certificates accepted by Bocconi Language Center at C1 level (for the list of the certificates accepted and correspondent level, refer to the table)

The deadline for applications is on Sunday, 19 January 2020 at 11.59 pm (italian time)
