In-Company Training abroad New York - Law - in presence

Career Services is pleased to inform you that we have set up an In-Company Training Law in New York in collaboration with: Gianni & Origoni, Chiomenti Law Firm, Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP, and Pavia & Harcourt LLP.

The program will include: 
 

  • Law firm presentation
     
  • Interactive case study
     
  • Q&A session.

The students will spend half a day in each of the law firms previously mentioned.
The event will be held in presence in New York from the 2nd to the 5th of May 2022.

We recommend the students be in New York on the 1st of May 2022, at any time.


Accommodation expenses will be covered by University. Travel expenses shall be borne by participants responsible for their travel arrangements. Participants are also responsible for the following costs:

  • Visa fees to enter the country of destination (when required)
     
  • Health insurance (when required)
     
  • Meals and extra costs (when not included)
     

Eligibility
 

  • 4th and 5th-year students currently and regularly enrolled in the Bocconi Integrated Master of Arts in Law in the a.y. 2021-2022;
  • GPA: minimum 22/30 (average weighted on credits).
     

Language requirements:
Applicants whose native tongue is not English have to prove a good knowledge of the English language through one of the following options:
 

  • Enrolment in a program taught in English
     
  • Bocconi English exam of Level C1
     
  • Other certificates accepted by Bocconi Language Center at C1 level (for the list of the certificates accepted and correspondent level, refer to the table)
  • A study experience in an English-speaking school or internship/work experience in an English-speaking country may also be evaluated.

Students' responsibility
Before applying, please note that it is the students' responsibility to:
 

  • Verify personally, with the authorities of the host country, the suitable procedures for obtaining the appropriate visa, if required, and any other necessary documentation in full compliance with local laws. All formalities relating to visas and other documents required to enter the country are the responsibility of the student.
     
  • Read the “Bocconi Students Travel Risk Policy” (available on yoU@B), and comply with the risk mitigation measures suggested.
     
  • Access, through yoU@B diary, the Travel Risk Awareness Elearning, and the International SOS Member’s portal, which includes Country Guides and Travel Security and Medical Risk Ratings.
     
  • Check and follow all the travel recommendations of your Country’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International SOS.
     
  • Check all the Covid-19 Procedures to enter the host country and to re-enter your home country.
     

Please, be also aware that Bocconi University reserves the right to cancel the program if exceptional circumstances occur before or during the carrying out of the program. 
Travel and health risks can rapidly change and lead Bocconi University and hosting Institutions/Companies or Countries to increase travel and health restrictions. In any case, Bocconi University does not guarantee that the In-Company Training will take place if the general conditions do not safeguard the well-being and safety of students.
