A group of students from the Master in Marketing and Communication were invited to Tolentino to present their digital innovation project in front of the company's marketing team

The two-day visit of a group of students of the Master in Marketing and Communication - MiMeC at the Poltrona Frau headquarters in Tolentino, where the students presented the project commissioned by the company, elaborated within the Digital Marketing laboratory held by Andreina Mandelli, has just ended. The main objective was to develop strategies to increase traffic on Poltrona Frau's website. "All students did a great job and one of the groups was invited by the company to present their project to the marketing team," explains the professor. "The added value of these teaching initiatives lies in the direct and constant interaction between students and companies: in this way, students fully understand how to apply the acquired notions", she continues. "This is not only true for students, who are given the opportunity to practice some real business challenges, but also for companies which have the occasion to evaluate potential employees in advance, or even get some 'young ideas' for their activities," adds Francesca Golfetto, director of the specialized master.

The group arrived on February 5 in Tolentino, where they visited the company museum and production line. Today, the students met with HR managers and presented their project in front of the marketing team. "It was exciting to present something of our own and think that we could bring added value to a company with our suggestions," says Francesco Granieri, student who participated in this initiative with Alois Bertona, Francesca Longhitano, Federica Piazza and Tiberio Rapisarda. "We developed our project on the basis of the analysis of the data provided by the company and we have tried to think our strategy according to the needs of potential consumers. Among our proposals, a simulator that allows, through a mobile camera, to visualize the chosen product inside the room where the customer wants to place it".
