Teaching Awards, Prizes Awarded for the 2023-2024 Academic Year
Two categories, “Student Engagement”, measured through quantitative indicators on the quality of teaching, and “Innovation in Teaching”, focused instead on the qualitative aspects of teaching and methods of assessing knowledge. The 35 Bocconi professors who distinguished themselves according to these parameters were awarded the Bocconi Teaching Awards, consisting of monetary prizes and plaques of recognition for the academic year 2023-2024, conferred during a ceremony, the Bocconi Teaching Night, which took place on March 31st in the Franceschi lecture hall of the University.
“These awards demonstrate the importance that Bocconi attaches to teaching in all disciplines and at all levels,” says the Rector Francesco Billari, “as well as the desire to experiment and innovate with the aspiration to do better and better, especially for the benefit of our students.”
The following were awarded in the “Student Engagement” category: Francesco Perrini, Catherine De Vries, Marta Cartabia, Peter Francis Pope, Annalisa Prencipe, Daniele Siena, Andrea Quartarone, Davide Achille, Emanuele Teti, Alessandra Malabarba.
For the category “Innovation in Teaching” the prizes were awarded to: Elisa Borghi, Gabriele Deana, Valentina Bosetti, Francesco Granella, Alfredo Di Tillio, Miguel Espinosa, Viktoriia Lapa, Maria Lucia Passador, Andrea Colli, Gian Maria Mallarino, Erika Deserranno, Stefano Gatti, Francesco Ceprano, Dirk Hovy, Paul Rottger, Franco Miroglio, Mario Notari, Arianna Vedaschi, Graziella Romeo, Chiara Graziani, Micol Guidetti Ferrario, Sergio Sulmicelli, Agostino Araneo, Carlo Schwarz, Alberto Grando.
