Leadership is Learnt from Leaders
It will be an Alumnus Bocconi of The Year, Vittorio Colao, CEO of Vodafone Group, who will kick off, on February 2, the new round of meetings 'Leadership Series' reserved for students of the Full-time MBA of SDA Bocconi. The meetings offer students the chance to interact and confront themselves with the experience of top managers, but also personalities from other worlds like sports, to understand the expertise, soft skills and values necessary to reach positions of leadership.
There will follow during the year meetings with Brian Heyworth, Global Co-Head Financial Institutions at HSBC, Giuseppe Sala, former CEO of Expo 2015, Marco Bizzarri, President and CEO Gucci, Luca Mignini, President Global Biscuits & Snacks of Campbell's, Clara Furse, Non-Executive Director at Nomura Holdings, Peter Loscher, CEO of Renova Management, Cristina Bowerman, chef, Marc Girardelli, former ski champion, and Alain Rauscher, CEO of Antin Infrastructure Partners.
"The Leadership Series is an occasion for the MBA students to get in contact with prominent personalities who have distinguished themselves in the corporate, sports and non-profit world with their leadership skills," explains Stefano Gatti, Director of the Full-time MBA. "Teaching how to become a leader is very difficult. Listening face-to-face a person who has developed a successful career or has achieved excellent results in their life helps students develop in a creative fashion the talents of a true manager."
