A Bocconi Scholar Joins an International Corporate Governance Study Group
The European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI) recently welcomed 74 new research members, further strengthening its position as a global center of excellence in corporate governance. Among them, the only member from an Italian institution is Giovanni Strampelli, of the Bocconi Department of Legal Studies. The new members come from prestigious academic institutions in the European Union, the United Kingdom, North America and Asia, reflecting the international nature of ECGI and the global importance of governance issues.
These new additions were selected through a rigorous process guided by a committee of experts in the field, recognizing their significant impact on academic research. New members will have the opportunity to publish their studies in ECGI's Working Paper Series, one of the most influential in the world in the field of corporate governance.
According to what ECGI writes on its website, “Through rigorous research, thought leadership, and fostering dialogue among stakeholders, we strive to promote effective governance structures that enhance transparency, accountability, and sustainability in corporations.”
ECGI thus continues to promote informed debate regarding corporate policies, contributing to the evolution of governance practices. The addition of new researchers strengthens the institute's ability to explore current issues and influence debate in academia and business globally.
