The acknowledgement in today's ranking regards the Master of Science in International Management, taught in English, and the evaluations for the ranking are based on a series of criteria, including the placement of graduates, students' international experience and alumni progress in terms of salary and career. Of the individual criteria, the Bocconi program stands out for the rating given by alumni to the effectiveness of the career service (ranked 5th in the world).
The Bocconi program has seen applications rise by around 10% yearly in the last decade and around 800 students applied for the 130 places available this year, with applications arriving from students from over 50 different countries.
"Our Master in International Management," comments Stefano Caselli, Dean for International Affairs at Bocconi, "is now confirmed among the world's best programs and is a point of reference for students wishing to experience two years of stimulating content, in an international context and with excellent placement prospects, all aspects which are recognized in the FT ranking."

Graduates from that seminal program include top managers such as Vittorio Colao, CEO of Vodafone Group, Francesca Bellettini, CEO of Saint Laurent, Giuseppe Sala, mayor of Milan, Silvia Candiani, CEO of Microsoft Italia, Luca de Meo, President of SEAT, Federico Marchetti, CEO of YOOX Net-A-Porter Group, Alessandro Bogliolo, CEO of Tiffany & Co., Cristina Scocchia, CEO of KIKO, Fabrizio Curci, CEO of Fiera Milano, and Marco Patuano, CEO of Edizione Holding.
Bocconi is also present in the FT ranking with the CEMS program, of which it is a founding member, ranked in 9th place.
