Bocconi's Culture of Inclusion
Experience firsthand what it is like to live in a wheelchair every day and come across the architectural barriers that make everything more difficult. Or, blindfolded, discover how acoustic radio beacons guide blind people through the campus. Or you could also try out the Paralympic games, which embrace an increasingly large number of sports. These and other experiences will be possible during a week of inclusion in the broadest sense of the term, through a series of activities and seminars. Their mission is to create awareness on how to build a comfortable environment for all members of the Bocconi community from different backgrounds, and serve as an opportunity for individual and organizational growth.
This is the first edition of Bocconi Inclusion Week, which will take place on campus from 10 to 17 November and welcome the participation of speakers and specialists from the Italian and international community, from both academia and the business world. On the agenda are issues related to gender, multiculturalism, ethnic and racial minorities, LGBTQIA+, disabilities, neurodiversity, cultural prejudices and mental health.
