BIF: a Day for Being International
What kind of internship opportunities can I find in India? How is the job market in Norway? Can I leave for an exchange and then for a Campus Abroad too? I found an unpaid internship abroad, what can I do? The answer to these and many other questions is called Bocconi International Fair (BIF). BIF is the international day and it will be held on February 11, in Roentgen 1. From 10,30am to 7pm, a series of presentations, meetings, conferences and roundtables will allow students and graduates to learn in detail about all the study and work abroad opportunities offered by Bocconi University.
More in particular, all the study abroad programs (Campus abroad, Exchange program, Double degree) will be introduced and described during 5 presentations, each with a particular focus, to be held in the aula Magna and in AS03. For those interested in knowing more about the study abroad programs, between 11.30am and 4pm, in the foyer of the aula magna, several students who have already done their exchange will be ready to tell their experiences, to clear up any doubts and to satisfy every curiosity.
Concerning the work abroad theme, there will be the International Career Spacelab, an area where students can meet Bocconi representatives, to ask for advice and submit their CVs. There will also be an area dedicated to One-to-One Sessions on the International Job Markets, where students can ask, during a 20-minutes individual interview, information on the labor market, open positions and on the skills required to work in one or two specific countries (among the 14 available). This last opportunity will be reserved to students who have previously subscribed. The day will end with a round table, open to all, on the subject of international careers, during which participants will receive information and advice on what to do to start a successful career abroad.
In addition, between a presentation and an interview, all participants can take a selfie in one of the dedicated areas and tag themselves on Facebook with the hashtag #BocconiWorld. Because Bocconi means internationalization, commitment, study and work, but it also means sharing.
