Bocconi Teaching Awards
Bocconi Teaching Awards are presented to faculty members who excel in teaching performance and/or innovation
Ten monetary bonuses are awarded each year, based on two different kind of indicators:
- student appreciation expressed in all class groups taught by the candidate and their placement in a specific ranking,
- innovations in teaching and knowledge assessment methods, teaching tools and materials adopted, and/or the approach proposed, as reported by the Heads of Department.
Prizes are awarded in two categories: one based on quantitative indicators and the other of a qualitative nature.
The allocation process depends on the opinion issued by a special committee composed of the School Deans and presided over by the Dean of the Faculty.
The Committee issues its opinion based solely on the evidence presented by the candidate and autonomously gathered information.
Bocconi Teaching Awards are usually assigned during the July Faculty Council meeting.
