A World of International Opportunities for Students

Walking around the Bocconi campus means hearing about many different languages. In 2016, 1807 students came from all over the world to pass a semester of study here, and 2237 Bocconi students left for an experience of study abroad. If the experience of study and work across the border seems to be an essential element in the training of students, finding their way among the various international opportunities offered by Bocconi to choose the most suitable for their studies and their dreams is not an easy task. Fortunately, there is Bocconi international fair (BIF), an event to be held on 8 February in the building in via Roentgen 1, where all the activities are presented in detail and the students can find assistance.

The international fair will open in reality on the evening of 7 February at 6:15 pm in the Aula Zappa of Via Sarfatti 25, with a round table on international careers with the participation of Bocconi graduates who have worked and studied abroad. The day of 8 February, however, will start at 10:30 in the main hall Roentgen with the presentation of Study Tour, the new intensive study program for a week, which will start in the summer of 2018 and will target a country of Africa or the Middle East. A series of presentations and overviews on the exchange program and on international programs in general, divided by degree program, will follow in the Roentgen auditorium. Parallel to the presentations, in the Roentgen foyer, from 1pm to 4:30, the Study abroad fair will be held, a space in which the students returned from their exchange abroad will be available to all for questions and clarifications.

Another pillar of international training is internships abroad, - a total of 1255 were launched in 2016 - which is why there will be a dedicated area, again in the Roentgen foyer from 1pm to 4:30, for international job opportunities. Students and graduates will be able to gather information with the support of labor market experts and find out more about job opportunities in certain countries and in specific institutions (chambers of commerce, embassies and NGOs).
