Which Bocconi Graduate Program Is Best for You? Ask the Directors

, by Davide Ripamonti
From 4 to 7 May, second year undergraduate students can interface with Directors of Master of Science programs directly in virtual mode and in the presence of former grad students

"It is a very important moment for the future of our students and the University, so in spite of the peculiar current circumstances, I have decided to stay close to them to help them choose the right graduate program." Antonella Carù, Dean of the Bocconi Graduate School, thus presents the University's decision not to cancel the traditional spring orientation event, reserved to Bocconi second-year students who are starting to think about which MSc program they will attend in academic year 2021-2022.

The initiative, organized by the Bocconi Guidance & Recruitment Service and titled "Talks with the MSc Program Directors", will be held in teleconferencing mode from 4 to 7 May and will involve all heads of the University's 13 Master of Science programs. Also on hand will be former students who will relate their experience; they are of course Bocconi alumni now. Bocconi students, who do not need to register in advance, will therefore be able to have privileged access in live streaming to detailed presentations of the features, requirements, and objectives of various programs. They will be able to pose their questions and air any issues straight to the directors, so as to get an idea of the potential for their future careers through testimonials of alumni working both in Italy and abroad.

"The choice to attend the MSc in Finance was excellent," says Kim Salvadori, Class of 2013, today executive director for leveraged finance at Goldman Sachs in London, who will be one of the guests for the event. "Teaching is international, theoretical concepts are explored in depth and matched by work on practical cases, so that you get an all-encompassing view of finance ", explains the alumna. "Furthermore, contacts with major international financial institutions are frequent, for example through targeted networking events. For those interested in a career in a highly competitive field such as international finance, the course provides all the tools to be successful."

All meetings and presentations will be in English, except for students of the Bachelor program in Business Legislation and Accounting, who will discuss with MSc directors in Italian.
