Thursdays at Bocconi, to the Sound of Classical Music

The evening events on campus will begin again on Thursday 22 October, with classical music concerts. The first musician will be Timofey Dolya, who will play Schubert, Chopin and Prokofiev for the Milan community

A new musical season is about to begin at Bocconi. Classical music concerts will begin again on Thursday 22 October (at 9pm, in the Aula Magna, Via Gobbi), organized by ISU Bocconi in collaboration with Furcht Pianoforti. The Bocconi community is welcome to attend, along with Milanese residents interested in classical music.

The first guest will be Timofey Dolya, who has been playing piano since the age of five and is now among the most well-known and acclaimed pianists at an international level.
The evening's program will include Franz Schubert's Four Impromptus for piano op. 142, D. 935. During the second part, the master will play Frederic Chopin's Two Nocturnes op. 27; from Sergei Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet, scenes: The Street Awakens; Juliet as a Young Girl; Friar Laurence's; Mercutio. He will also perform Piano Sonata no. 7 in B major, op. 83; Allegro inquieto; Andante caloroso; Precipitato.

The second event for the month of October, on the 29th, will feature Luciano Lanfranchi and Pietro Massa on the piano, accompanied by Stefan Coles on the violin.
