QS Ranking, Bocconi in the top 10 worldwide for Social Sciences and Management
A leap of six positions allows Bocconi to enter the world top 10 of the best universities for Social Sciences and Management in the new QS World University Rankings by Subject 2022. The ranking is considered one of the most comprehensive because it simultaneously evaluates academic reputation, scientific production and quality of graduates.
In addition to ranking 10th in the world, and 4th in Europe, in the Social Sciences & Management broad faculty area, Bocconi is also confirmed in the European top 5 in all its main areas of expertise. In fact, in the rankings of individual subjects, Bocconi is 3rd in Europe for Business & Management, 4th for Economics & Econometrics and 5th for Accounting & Finance.
The ranking developed by QS, the international network dedicated to education and professions, is built on the basis of five parameters: academic reputation based on the opinion of academics (over 130,000 worldwide), the reputation of graduates based on the opinion of nearly 75,000 recruiters, citations per paper, the H-Index, which quantifies the number and impact of research publications, and, new this year, the International Research Index, which measures the ability of institutions to diversify the geography of their international research network.
