Gulen Sarial Abi, a New Assistant Professor from Istanbul

The Department of Marketing is enriched by a new Assistant Professor: Gülen Sarial Abi, a fresh PhD in Marketing from Koç University of Istanbul, joins the Bocconi faculty from September 2013. A degree in Business Administration from Koç University and a Master of Science in Management Research obtained from the University of Oxford, Gülen Sarıal Abi has worked for some years for Siemens Healthcare as a Brand Management Consultant (2004-2008).

Her research is focused on consumer behavior, with a specific emphasis on how consumers cope with constraints, goals and information processing, and on linguistic effects on consumer behavior.
