Eighteen banks will be at the Investment Bank Days, the Bocconi initiative dedicated to students who want to meet recruiters and professionals of the sector, to be held on September 27, 28 and 29

The Investment Bank Days are close, three days dedicated to students who want to discover the world of investment banks. The career event, which will be attended by 18 banks, for this eleventh edition will be held at the Via Gobbi building for three days: September 27, 28 and 29 (click here to see schedules and program). Students taking part in the initiative will have the opportunity not only to follow the presentations of the banks, but also to meet with recruiters and professionals, to learn more about the internship programs and have the chance to be selected, as was the case for students Alice Dametti and Alessandro Brutto.

"It is an opportunity to learn more about many banks in a few days, to understand their differences and to meet recruiters and also students or granduates who have already done internships or are currently hired by one of the banks, ready to give insights and practical suggestions," explains Alice, in her second year of Finance, who came into contact with Goldman Sachs during the last edition of the event and was then selected for a 10-week summer internship in London. "In the end I received a job offer: after graduating next year, I will start my training programme at Goldman Sachs".

Alessandro, an International Management (CEMS MIM) student, also came into contact with HSBC during the last edition of the Investment Bank Days, and he was then selected for a summer internship. "Participating in this event is a good opportunity for networking and offers concrete help in understanding how to prepare for the interviews of a particular bank," he says. "In addition, the internship allowed me to clearly understand, by getting in touch with the various teams, in which area I would like to work, which in my case is leverage finance".
