What are the structural policy challenges associated with the COVID-19 epidemic? On this issue, Laurence Boone, chief economist of the OECD and Francesco Giavazzi, economist and vice president of Bocconi's International Advisory Council will talk with Gianmario Verona, Rector of Bocconi. The live streamed discussion is set for Friday 12 June at 2:45 pm, on the occasion of the fifth and last appointment of ExecutiveChat live.

The debate will be inspired by the Economic Outlook of 10 June, the OECD 's half-yearly analysis of the on the main trends and economic prospects for the next two years. The Outlook offers a coherent set of projections for production, employment, prices, budget balances and current accounts. The analysis covers all OECD member countries and selected other nations. This edition includes a general assessment of the macroeconomic situation, a series of notes on the challenges associated with the COVID-19 epidemic and a chapter that summarizes developments and provides projections for each individual country.
