The Best Master in Sports Management Is Branded SDA
The FIFA Master, a program organized by the Centre International d'Etude du Sport (CIES), in collaboration with SDA Bocconi, De Montfort University (UK) and the Université de Neuchatel (Switzerland), was designated the best post-graduate program in sports management in the world by Sport Business International, out of a shortlist of over 500 programs evaluated for the 2014 ranking. The parameters used to determine the ranking were quality of faculty, time to find work, the quality of positions covered and international dimension.
The Master, founded in 2000 with the aim of creating professionalism in the world of sports, has three modules: history (De Montfort University), management (SDA Bocconi) and law (Université de Neuchatel). There are only 30 spots available each year out of around 300 applicants from all over the world."This recognition means that Italy is at the top of sports management education," says Dino Ruta, Scientific Directorof the module at SDA Bocconi, along with Marco Elefanti. "We know how to interpret and teach how sports produces culture and values in both professional and amateur areas, combining US business practices with other outstanding international practices."Today more than 90% of alumni work at large international organizations such as FIFA, FIBA, FIS and at several of the leading world companies working in sports products.
