Beatrice Franzolini Honored by IMS
Beatrice Franzolini, a researcher at the Bocconi Institute for Data Science and Analytics (BIDSA), is among the winners of the 2024 edition of the New Researcher Travel Award given by the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS).
The award consists of a sum of money that can be used by IMS members who have earned their PhD’s within the past five years to attend any meeting organized or co-organized by the IMS where they will present their work. In Beatrice's case, she will present her recent paper "Conditional partial exchangeability: a probabilistic framework for multi-view clustering" at the Bernoulli-IMS 2024 World Congress in Bochum, Germany. Among the 16 award winners in 2024, only four belong to universities based outside the United States.
The Institute of Mathematical Statistics, founded in 1935, is the leading international scientific association for statistics and probability.
