Non resident student

A.Y. 2024-25

International students with permanent legal address ABROAD and all other students who are not considered "commuting" nor "resident", can apply for the non-resident status through the online ISU Bocconi Scholarship application and submitting compliant documentation attesting the accommodation in Milan (upon payment), as indicated in the table below.

Failure to submit the necessary documentation will result in being assigned the "commuting" status instead of the "non-resident" status.

1ST AND 2ND SEMESTER IN MILAN

- a rental contract upon payment, in the name of the student or in the name of a parent,

- the receipt of registration at Agenzia delle Entrate for 2024 year or for the year in which the contract has been signed,

- the registration tax payment receipt for the current year if the contract is not under the "cedolare secca" option (F24);

or

- Copy of the Housing assignment in one of the Bocconi Residence Halls 

or, for students domiciled in rented public/private facilities

- Declaration issued on letterhead paper by the hosting facility that certifies the applicant’s period of stay

- and Copy of a fiscally valid certificate (invoice) regarding the payment of the already paid rental fee for the housing in Milan


 

From September 1 to September 30, 2024

  • 1ST SEMESTER IN MILAN
  • 2ND SEMESTER ABROAD*

FOR STUDY/WORK EXPERIENCES RECOGNIZED BY BOCCONI INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS SERVICE

- a rental contract for the first semester, upon payment, in the name of the student or in the name of a parent,

- the receipt of registration at Agenzia delle Entrate for 2024 year or for the year in which the contract has been signed,

- the registration tax payment receipt for the current year if the contract is not under the "cedolare secca" option (F24);

or

- Copy of the Housing assignment in one of the Bocconi Residence Halls 

or, for the students domiciled in rented public/private facilities

WHOLE YEAR ABROAD* FOR STUDY/WORK EXPERIENCES RECOGNIZED BY BOCCONI INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS SERVICE

No document is required: the office will automatically verify the student's position
 

 

 

Students domiciled in a municipality that is not considered as “resident” or “commuting” who:

 

  • will go abroad for study/work experiences recognized by Bocconi International Relations Service

and for this reason

  • cannot submit the necessary documentation to attest their non-resident status or are not assigned a room in a Bocconi Residence Halls for at least 10 months

can request to be considered "non-resident" by the deadline above indicated through the online scholarship application procedure and then follow the instructions above, provided that the period spent abroad (certified by International Relations Service) added to the period spent in Milan (duly documented) is of at least 10 months in the period September 2024-August 2025.

 

* For the period spent abroad no documentation must be submitted to the FFH office. The attendance of the international program will be verified with the competent Bocconi offices.
