We Know Too Much or Too Little

, by Andrea Celauro, translated by Rosa Palmieri
Rector Francesco Billari discusses educational mismatch as a podcast guest on an episode of Economics Explained

Do we live in societies that are characterized by overtraining? Not necessarily. What we call educational mismatch is linked to the fact that "we have an excess of training in some areas, such as the more traditional ones, and a lack in others. What comes to mind, for example, are emerging issues related to data and artificial intelligence. Unfortunately, the economy today needs more human knowledge and capital than ever, especially the latter." These are the words of Bocconi University Rector, Francesco Billari, guest of the podcast series Economics Explained – a platform that promotes conversations on economic trends, political implications and current challenges.
