The objectives of the Sport Topic Group are to: invite various stakeholders in the sports industry to Bocconi University; address the different themes of the sports ecosystem to present trends, networking, synergies and potential conflicts; underline Bocconi's reputation as a leading educational hub for the global sports industry; and foster interaction among students, Alumni and industry leaders.

The Sport Topic Group handles both academic and recreational activities organized for the Alumni community. On the one hand, it regularly hosts a series of events for Bocconi students and the Alumni community together with leaders from the international sports industry. On the other hand, the Sport Topic Group also organizes social gatherings for the Bocconi community depending on the sport played. An example is Bocconi Golf Days, a new format that consists of golf competitions and social events to encourage networking in the community. Other examples are the Intercompany Challenge, the multi-employer soccer championship in Milan, and the Milan Marathon – where Alumni runners organize relay races each year with the goal of contributing to the Charity Program and raising funds for deserving students.
