For the Milano Design Week, a Special Itinerary Around Pagano's Architectures

, by Andrea Celauro
From June 6 to June 12, a special exhibit on the Bocconi Campus, with installations in collaboration with LUX Italia and guided tours by FAI, accompanies visitors among the buildings and furnishings designed by Giuseppe Pagano. An opportunity to discover the campus in a different light

A journey of light and design to celebrate the vision of Giuseppe Pagano, the architect who gave life to the original buildings of Bocconi University, but also an opportunity to reflect and appreciate the evolution of the architectural language that subsequently characterized the evolution of the campus, with the buildings built by Gardella, Grafton and Sanaa. On the occasion of Milan Design Week, from 6 to 12 June, Bocconi University will host an unprecedented tour: "Giuseppe Pagano e l'Università Bocconi, tra architetture e design" ("Giuseppe Pagano and Bocconi University, between architectures and design"). The initiative, created by Bocconi and LUX Italia, a company specialized in the illumination of works of art, includes an exhibition that revolves around four installations scattered among the buildings of the Bocconi campus and dedicated to the furnishing and objects made by Pagano for the University.

Between 6 and 12 June the installations, which are particularly suggestive due to the special lighting, can be visited freely according to the opening hours of the various buildings involved. In addition, from 8 to 11 June, between 8 and 10pm (with departures every 20 minutes approximately), it will also be possible to follow the exhibition itinerary by participating in one of the free guided tours organized by FAI (registration is required, here).

Thanks to the initiative of Bocconi and LUX Italia, The Milan Design Week has become an occasion to discover, literally in a different light, the University's campus. Along the way, special gel filters will give birth to that particular shade of 'Pagano green' that was characteristic of the architect's design and that will accompany visitors along the stages of the tour. That is, the 'Light source' moment, at one of the windows of the building in via Sarfatti 25; the 'Enlightened comfort' moment at the entrance of the new building in via Sarfatti 10; the 'Dialogue in the light' and the 'Human lights' at the building in Via Roentgen.
