Jay Horwitz, Management after 9/11

Jay Horwitz joins Bocconi's Department of Management and Technology with a fresh PhD in Strategic Management gained at University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management. He has taken up the post of assistant professor, effective from the beginning of the academic year 2011-2012.His recent research examines formal and psychological contracting and the performance of US fire departments following the 9/11 attacks.

Educated at Columbia University and Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz School of Public Policy and Management, he has worked as researcher or analyst at Forrester Research, RAND Corporation, and the NYC Independent Budget Office.
