The evolution of data as a key asset to drive innovation and competitive advantage in the first episode of the new Story Scanner podcast

One of the most valuable assets of our time is data – described as the 'new oil' – and large data sets have become a core asset in the economy, fostering and innovating new industries, processes and products. And for companies it is vital to know how to source and process data and use it to create value, innovation and competitive advantage.

The evolution of data and how companies can best leverage it is the topic of the first episode of Story Scanner – the new podcast based on the stories headlining ViaSarfatti25, the magazine from Bocconi University, with analysis and insights from Bocconi professors and researchers on the big topics in business, management, data science and politics.

Torben Pedersen, professor in Global Strategy at Bocconi University, helps us understand how Data-Driven Innovation is the key to future success for companies and gives some tips on how to craft a data-driven innovation strategy.
