US Election Night

The election of a US president is an event of historic significance, with endless implications that go beyond the political, as well as medium- and long-term impacts around the world. Thus, on the occasion of the 2024 US presidential election, in partnership with the Department of Social and Political Sciences and Campus Life, and with the participation of Graduate School - ACME, Undergraduate School - CLEACC is organizing a nighttime event in the Gobbi Aula Magna to take this valuable opportunity to witness history in the making. 

The event will offer continuous updates on the vote count and will host a large roster of faculty members and experts who will analyze the election campaign, candidates and ballot results in all their important aspects, from politics and economics to society and culture.

The event has been organized under the umbrella of activities related to the Television and Culture course taught by Prof. Andrea Quartarone, teaching assistant Ennio Terrasi Borghesan, alumna Chiara Cuzzocrea and the course's student newsroom, which this semester is curating and producing a podcast on the US election campaign entitled “Good Night and Good Luck” (available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts).
