Employer Policies
Employers may recruit Bocconi candidates by promoting internship and placement offers on our Portal.
Access to the Portal
Employers are asked to accept our General Conditions regulating the use of the Portal.
Once a potential employer accesses the portal for the first time, Bocconi’s Career Service takes care of the following, in order to gain a deeper knowledge of the company/institution:
- For potential employers located in Italy – Bocconi needs a copy of the company’s “visura camerale”, which must contain the following data: name of the company, its date of creation, its status (“impresa attiva”), its ATECO code, its turnover, the number of employees and any judicial proceedings;
- For employers located in and outside of Italy - Bocconi needs a company presentation.
- Bocconi will get in touch by phone with the potential employer within 5 working days from the employer’s first access to the Portal.
Offer Policy
All internship and placement offers that employers wish to promote are to be actual vacancies that need to be covered within a short time span. Internship or Graduate Programs may however be promoted well ahead of time. The Career Service checks within 3 working days that offers posted are in line with Bocconi students/graduates Academic Profiles and Career Expectations and switches them on to make them visible to potential candidates.
Visas
Employers offering internship and placement opportunities abroad must make sure they give candidates all the necessary information and any documentation needed in order for them to work legally in the hosting country.
Permit of stay
Employers offering internship opportunities in Italy to extra UE citizens must verify that candidates holds the appropriate permits of stay (for example for study reasons) and that the permit of stay remains valid for the entire duration of the internship.
Internship offers
An internship may be offered to students (curricular internship) or graduates within 12 months from their graduation (extracurricular internship) according to Italian regional law.
